Any release from the man most renowned for stretching pop music to insane heights always gets us excited. John Maus, is set to release a collection of rarities and previously unreleased material called... A Collection Of Rarities And Previously Unreleased Material.

Showcasing his work over an nine year span starting with early numbers, 'The Law', 'Lost', 'Big Dumb Man' and 'The Fear' from 2003 and culminating in 'Castles In The Grave' and 'Angel Of The Night', from 2010, all tracks have been remixed and remastered. Six, including the aforementioned 'Castles In The Grave' appeared on last years web only release Demos 2011.

The record will see a release on all three formats but the vinyl version will be limited to 3000 hand numbered copies, 500 of which will come out on translucent pink vinyl exclusively from his label and Domino subsidiary Ribbon Music. A Collection Of Rarities And Previously Unreleased Material is out on July 17.
