SECOND WILD NOTHING TRACK DEBUTS IN TOP 10
Tuesday, 21 August 2012 08:09

It could have been just about any of the tracks on the new Wild Nothing album, Nocturne that landed in the Top 30, it's that good. It's why its our AOTW. But we've plumped for the title track, a stunning five and a half minute take on 80s pop done expressly according to the inner warmth of the pop world of Jack Tatum. 'Nocturne' debuts at 6. Tatum is joined by two tracks we featured last week, the hauntingly poetic 'Mystery Colors' by Astronauts etc. at 22 and the four to the floor stomper from German Producer Phillip Krink, 'Here I Come' at 21. Another impressive dance track completes the new entries at 28; American producer Michna's track 'Wanted Exotic' off his new Moving Mountains EP.

There's a new number one this week with Holy Other's 'Held' taking over from Purity Ring's 'Fineshrine', which finds itself falling to four after four weeks at the top. Listen to the new Wild Nothing title track below and if you wish to do so, stream the whole record. You can grab the Michna track for free. Go the entire chart right here.
