PAWS ALL OVER DEBUT LP COKEFLOAT
Wednesday, 26 September 2012 01:59

Glasgow based punk/garage crossover trio PAWS are set to release their debut long player, Cokefloat, next month. Recorded with Rory Atwell in a studio moored at Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London, Cokefloat is a raucous, yet somewhat introspective ride featuring not only straight forward punk driven ditties that sport a US west coast inspired DIY sound, doses of garage rock in the tried and true UK tradition, but also moments of pop sensibility giving the record quite a diverse character. First single, the rocking 'Jellyfish' appeared in July and this week sees the release of the more pop influenced follow up, 'Sore Tummy' b/w 'Salem'. Cokefloat is out October 9 through Fat Cat Records. Listen to the two singles and their b-sides below and pre-order all on all formats here.
